SECRETS OF PERFUMER

In the 17th century, Marie-Anne de La Trémoille became a princess when she married a scion of the powerful Orsini family in Nerola, Italy.
This Queen of Nerola filled her bath with orange blossoms to steep her body, clothes and gloves in perfume, as well as her palace in Rome.
This fragrance – the emblem of the Nerola family – became fashionable in Rome, and the word Neroli was coined to describe this essence that still remains so popular today.
